Andre Pendleton grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland and received a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Bowie State University. Andre previously worked for D.E.N. United Construction, where he served as a concrete finisher. He currently works as an Advocacy Specialist for Miriam's Kitchen, an organization dedicated to ending chronic homelessness in Washington, D.C. Andre joined Negotiation Works’ Ambassador program because he valued the opportunity to continue his involvement with NW and share perspectives with previous and future cohorts. Andre enjoys being a Negotiation Works Ambassador because he likes learning from others' perspectives and working together to develop constructive ideas for community building. He took the Negotiation Works course through the Georgetown University Prison and Justice Initiative.
